Our client is a UK-based, family-run manufacturer and supplier of high-end bespoke interior design products. With offices and showrooms in Chelsea, London, they design, supply, and fit custom products for a UK customer base, with plans for regional and global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team KPIs.
- Oversee the implementation of new sales processes and ensure consistent adoption.
- Manage pre-delivery client care issues to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Support employee development through structured training processes.
- Ensure disciplined and effective use of CRM systems across the team.
- Manage the sales administration team for smooth operations.
- Prepare and analyse sales performance reports to support decision-making.
- Oversee workload distribution, team handovers, and operational efficiency.
- Update email templates and maintain resources to reflect process changes.
- Act as the point of contact for external suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales team management.
- Knowledge of interior design products or furniture is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire and guide a team.
- Experience managing team KPIs, targets, and objectives.
- Flexible and adaptable approach suitable for an agile business environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Confidence in using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot or similar).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on management.
