About The Role
My client is a leading global e-commerce company seeking an experienced Partnership Development Manager to join their Austrian team on a remote basis.
The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in Business Development and Vendor Management within a technology, e-commerce, or logistics environment. Strong operational and analytical skills are essential. Additionally, experience in growing vendor relationships with a focus on account expansion is required.

Responsibilities
- Develop partnerships with retail merchandisers, sellers, manufacturers, and direct brands, and focus on category selections to increase overall value, in alignment with business and customer demand.
- Support merchandise partners with establishing themselves on our client’s platform and maximise their growth.
- Guide seller partners in developing comprehensive plans including market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and operational strategies.
- Propose innovative ideas based on the current status of the categories, as well as create and implement projects through resource integration and merchant guidance.
- Conduct industry analysis reports, explore potential customer needs through data analysis, and adjust strategies accordingly based on market trends.
Qualifications
- You should have 8 years of operational experience, including, but not limited to, experience in brand management or platform operations.
- Experience working in the e-commerce sector (Essential)
- An extensive network and strong relationships with local sellers and vendors are advantageous.
- Strong data analysis skills are essential, with the ability to analyse industry trends, manage projects through data, and summarize your findings.
- You should possess capabilities in market exploration and marketing innovation, with the ability to guide comprehensive merchant marketing plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes are required.
- You must be able to work under pressure and manage logistics during periods of high demand.
