The Opportunity
A superb opportunity for an Investment Analyst / Portfolio Analyst to join a well-established and successful investment management business.
The firm works closely with a select group of clients and manages portfolios spanning liquid, semi-liquid, and illiquid investments. Their focus is on differentiated investment strategies and building long-term relationships with a small number of exceptional investment managers.
This role supports the management of client portfolios and the development of internal analytical tools and portfolio systems.
It is a hands-on role working closely with two or three senior team members while also having exposure to the wider team and participating in regular investment discussions and portfolio reviews.
This opportunity would suit an analytically minded investment professional who enjoys both portfolio analysis and improving internal investment tools within a collaborative, high-trust environment.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Monitoring & Investment Analysis

Monitor investments across liquid, semi-liquid, and illiquid strategies

Review investment manager reports and maintain ongoing communication with managers

Contribute insights to internal investment discussions and portfolio reviews

Support portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
Portfolio Reporting & Client Support

Monitor client portfolios for internal oversight and external reporting

Support preparation of materials for client meetings and investment reviews

Ensure accuracy and consistency across portfolio reporting outputs
Portfolio Systems & Tools

Maintain and enhance portfolio management systems

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting tools, and automation

Support development of tools used to analyse qualitative and quantitative investment data
Collaboration

Work closely with senior members of the investment team

Participate in team calls and investment discussions

Contribute to broader portfolio initiatives where required
Background & Experience
-
1–4 years’ experience in investment management, asset management, private wealth, or a family office
-
Experience supporting portfolio monitoring, investment analysis, or portfolio reporting
-
Strong analytical mindset with interest in financial markets and investment strategies

Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline

Professional working proficiency in English and French
Technical Skills

Advanced Excel skills (including VBA)

Experience using financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or Moody’s

Interest in improving investment tools, portfolio systems, and data workflows

Familiarity with modern AI tools and research workflows is beneficial
