Finance and Office Operations Manager
Salary: £60,000 + Enhanced Holiday Allowance
Contract: Permanent | Start Date: ASAP
Location: London – Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Office Operations Manager to oversee finance, HR, and administrative operations for our client’s London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accounting professional with ACCA or ACA certification, fluent in Mandarin and English, and well-versed in UK compliance and office management.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Management
- Bookkeeping, cash-flow monitoring, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit UK statutory filings: VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE, ESL, CIS, year-end accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors and HMRC.
- Produce monthly management accounts, budget vs. actual analysis, and ad-hoc reports.
- Improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Support funding applications and grant compliance; mitigate currency risk exposure.
- Process payroll and maintain holiday records.
HR & Office Administration
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Manage office contracts and supplier relationships.
- Oversee office and IT procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English.
- Full ACA or ACCA qualification with UK experience.
- 3–5 years experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems.
